ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College men's soccer team improved to 4-0 to start the season for the first time since 2019 on Wednesday, defeating cross-town rival Siena Heights by a 3-0 score at Docking Stadium.
Alex Greene scored twice in Wednesday night's contest, including once on a penalty kick in the thirty-second minute.
Owen Emert provided the third goal for Adrian in the fifty-sixth minute, securing the win. Freshman goalkeeper,
Eli Sizemore, continued his strong play, making five saves in the match and earning his third straight shutout. Leading in the shot category for Adrian was Greene who finished with six shots, four of them on goal.

Brett Wojkowski each played all ninety minutes of the match for the home team.
The Bulldogs hadn't beat Siena Heights since 1996 coming into today, but the win snapped a ten-game losing streak to SHU and secured the program their sixth all-time victory over their cross-town rivals of Adrian. Shots in the match were 14-12 in favor of Adrian College.
Adrian College men's soccer will continue their home-stand on Friday, September 13 when they host Cleary University at Docking Stadium at 3:00 PM.
