HIRAM, OHIO. - The Adrian College women's soccer team delivered a commanding performance on Saturday evening, showcasing their skill and teamwork with a decisive 3-0 victory over Hiram. The Bulldogs' defense, anchored by goalkeeper Gabrielle Fallon Revels, was impeccable, with Revels earning a well-deserved shutout.
The offense came out firing in the first half, with Adrian scoring three goals to set the tone. Junior Teagan Bergeron got things started with a brilliant strike in the fifth minute, thanks to a precise assist from fellow junior Alanna Earl. The relentless pressure continued as junior Annamarie Fosmoen found the back of the net in the 14th minute, with senior Kelsey Zoli providing the assist. Earl capped off the first-half scoring in the 21st minute, further solidifying Adrian's dominance.
The second half mirrored the Bulldogs' first-half performance, with Adrian maintaining their defensive fortitude and offensive prowess. Hiram was unable to break through, and Adrian's shutout victory extended their winning streak to two games, also earning their first road win.
Adrian College women's soccer will be back in action at Docking Stadium next Tuesday at 6:00 PM where the Bulldogs will take on Indiana University at South Bend.Â
