ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College women's soccer team hosted Indiana University at South Bend on Tuesday night. The Bulldogs controlled the game offensively coming away with a 4-1 victory to extend their winning streak to three matches.
The scoring started early in the first half after
Alanna Earl scored on a rebounded shot in the third minute to claim a 1-0 lead. In the 15th minute, Indiana South Bend responded after collecting a rebounded shot off the post to tie the match 1-1. In the 27th minute,
Kelsey Zoli scored from the top of the box to reclaim the lead heading into halftime. In the 58th minute,
Annamarie Fosmoen buried a goal to extend the lead to 3-1. With 12 seconds to go in the match,
Zoe Greenbaum scored off a corner kick to win the match, 4-1.
Adrian totaled 42 shots with 23 landing on goal while Indiana South Bend collected just four shots with two on goal.
Gabrielle Fallon Revels started in goal for Adrian where she made one save.
Adrian will have a nine-day break before traveling to the University of Mount Union on Thursday, September 26 for a 5:00 PM match.
