ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College men's soccer team continued its scorching hot start to the season on Sunday, defeating Rochester Christian University at Docking Stadium by a 3-0 score. The Bulldogs collected their fourth shutout of the season, and start 6-0 for the first time since 2019, tying the program record.
Captain
Dante Perri scored first for Adrian, penetrating the Rochester goal in the eighteenth minute off a pass from
Nick Miller.
Tyler Berezak found the back of the net off a header-pass from Perri in the twenty-sixth minute for his third of the campaign, before Miller topped it off for Adrian in the eightieth minute, tallying off a penalty kick.
Freshman goalkeeper,
Eli Sizemore, earned yet another win in goal for Adrian, making seven saves and collecting his fourth shutout of the year. It was Captain Perri who led the way in the shot column for the home team, striking two shots, both of them on goal.
