ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College women's basketball team dropped its MIAA home contest on Wednesday night, falling to the Trine University Thunder, 79-49.
The Bulldogs kept it close with a tough Trine team in the first half of the contest, but the Thunder separated themselves and carried on for the 30-point win.
Morgan Babb continued her strong season, finishing atop the scoring for Adrian on Wednesday, tallying 12 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and a block. She was followed up by
Kaitlyn Otto and
Kylie Skidmore, who finished with 11 and 10 points respectively to aid the offense for the Bulldogs.
Adrian ended Wednesday's contest with a 33.3% rate from field-goal range, a 26.3% rate from downtown, and an impressive 70.6% rate from the line, going 12 for 17.
The Adrian College women's basketball team will host MIAA opponent, Saint Mary's College, on Saturday at the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center at 1:00 PM.
