ADRIAN, Mich. — The Adrian College NCAA men's hockey team began its series on the road with Lake Forest on Friday night. The Bulldogs struggled dropping the series opener 5-2.
Lake Forest jumped out to start the game and led 2-0 after the first period. Lake Forest added on in the second before Frank Tafelski put Adrian on the board to make it 3-1. Lake Forest took a 5-1 lead in the third. Bradley Somers struck one more time for the Bulldogs but it wasn't enough to spark a comeback.
Dershahn Stewart started in goal for Adrian finishing the night with 29 saves.
The Bulldogs will look to bounce back tomorrow afternoon at 5:00 PM ET.
