ALMA, Mich. -- The Adrian College women's basketball team dropped a nail-biter to Alma College on Saturday, falling to the Scots on the road, 60-56.
Adrian out-scored Alma in the first and third quarters, but Alma found the edge at the end of it, taking the MIAA contest by four points.
Kylie Skidmore led Adrian with 13 points on the day, including 5 for 9 from the line, 3dimes, 4 steals, and 5 rebounds, while
Aubrie Ickes put together another strong performance for her second straight and third double-double of they year, grabbing 10 points and 14 boards.
Hannah Lisch helped lead the offensive effort on Saturday, posting 12 points, 3 boards, and 1 steal.
The Bulldogs struggled from beyond the arc, only converting once on 12 attempts. The team shot 37.9% from field goal range, and converted 65% of their free throws.
The Adrian College women's basketball team moves to 4-14 on the season and 3-6 in MIAA conference play with 7 games remaining on the 2024-25 docket. The Bulldogs will next play against Kalamazoo on January 29 at the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center. Tip-off at 7:00 PM.Â
