KALAMAZOO, MICH. - The Adrian College men's basketball team took a trip to Kalamazoo College for a MIAA midweek matchup where the Bulldogs squeaked out a 69-68 win over the Hornets.
Adrian took control early, surging out to a solid lead in the first half against the Hornets. Senior Nick Siefert set the tone, leading the Bulldogs with a season-high 26-point performance, adding three rebounds, three assists, one block, and one steal. His all-around play helped Adrian maintain a six-point advantage heading into halftime, shooting 50% from the field, 30% from three, and 55% from the free-throw line.
Junior Seth Logan also made his presence felt, contributing 16 points, three rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Logan's sharpshooting from beyond the arc was pivotal, as he nailed three of Adrian's nine total three-pointers in the game.
Kalamazoo mounted a late rally, closing the gap and making things tense in the final moments. However, the Bulldogs stayed composed, with sophomore Braylon Dickerson stepping up to sink two clutch free throws, sealing the victory and securing a hard-fought road win for Adrian, 69-68.
Adrian is back in action on Saturday, February 1 where they will travel to Trine University. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
