ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's soccer team came up short in a tightly contested matchup Tuesday night, falling 1-0 to Trine University inside Docking Stadium.

After a scoreless opening half, the Thunder broke through in the 50th minute when they found the back of the net. 

Adrian managed seven total shots, five of which were on target, led by Alanna Earl and Ashley Hughes who each registered a pair of attempts. Defensively, goalkeeper Katelyn Stanton was stellar once again, making 10 saves in 90 minutes of action to keep the Bulldogs within striking distance.

The Bulldogs (5-8-1, 2-2-0 MIAA) return to action later this week as they continue conference play at Olivet Saturday afternoon for a 1:00pm kick off.
