ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College men's soccer team dropped a hard-fought 2–1 decision to conference rival Albion College on Wednesday night inside Docking Stadium.

Adrian struck first in the 38th minute when Kyle Peterson buried his second goal of the season to give the Bulldogs a 1–0 advantage heading into halftime. The home side controlled much of the early play, outshooting the Britons 7–1 in the opening 45 minutes.

Albion responded after the break netting the equalizer in the 58th minute before scoring again in the 75th to put the visitors ahead for good.

Goalkeeper Eli Sizemore anchored the Bulldogs' defense with six second-half saves to keep Adrian within striking distance, while Peterson and Kyle Jennings led the offensive push with a combined seven shots.

Adrian finished with 10 total shots and six on goal compared to Albion's nine.

The Bulldogs (3–10–1, 1–1–1 MIAA) continue conference play this weekend when they travel to take on Alma College Saturday for a 4:00pm kick off.
