ALMA, Mich. – The Adrian College men's soccer team picked up an impressive 3–2 road win over Alma College on Friday night at Bahlke Field. The Bulldogs earned their second conference victory of the season behind a dominant performance from senior forward Kyle Jennings, who scored twice, and a late game-winner from Aidan Beiter.
Adrian struck first in the 39th minute when Jennings buried his first goal of the night to give the Bulldogs a 1–0 lead heading into halftime. The Scots answered quickly after the break with back-to-back goals to move in front 2–1 by the 54th minute.
Jennings responded just ten minutes later, notching his second goal of the match to level things at 2–2. With under ten minutes to play, Beiter delivered the go-ahead strike in the 83rd minute—his first collegiate goal—to seal the comeback win for Adrian.
Goalkeeper Eli Sizemore recorded one save on the night as the Bulldogs' defense held off Alma's late push. Adrian outshot the Scots 11–10, putting eight shots on target compared to Alma's three.
With the victory, Adrian improves to 3–10–1 overall and 2–1–1 in MIAA play, while Alma falls to 6–7–2 and 0–3–1 in the conference. The Bulldogs return to action Tuesday as they host Trine University for a 7:00pm kick off.
