RIVER FOREST, Ill. -The Adrian College men's basketball team traveled to Dominican University on Saturday afternoon and came away with an impressive comeback victory on the road.
Both teams found their rhythm offensively in the first half, with Dominican jumping out to an early lead and maintaining control heading into the break. Adrian trailed by six at halftime, facing a 41–35 deficit.
Dominican extended its advantage early in the second half, but the Bulldogs responded with a strong run to shift momentum. The contest turned into a nail-biter down the stretch, as Adrian surged offensively and tightened up defensively. The Bulldogs outscored Dominican 58–47 in the second half, knocked down timely free throws, and closed out a hard-fought 93–88 win.
Jeremiah Dallas led Adrian with a team-high 17-points, adding four rebounds and four assists. Luke Rager added 14 points, with four rebounds ans six assists. Seth Logan and Darrius Welch each chipped in 12 points, with Logan grabbing five rebounds and Welch pulling down four. Brendon Schlink contributed 11 points and six rebounds, while Jaden Smiley added eight points and six rebounds.
As a team, Adrian shot an efficient 50 percent from the field, 33 percent from three-point range, and 22-of-29 from the free-throw line.
