OBERLIN, Ohio - The Adrian College women's basketball team made the short trip to Oberlin College on Saturday afternoon and took care of business on the road, earning an 18-point victory.
The opening half was tightly contested, with the Bulldogs trailing by two at the end of the first quarter. Morgan Babb sparked the offense in the second quarter, scoring the majority of Adrian's points to help the Bulldogs seize momentum. Adrian headed into halftime with a 33–27 advantage.
Adrian carried that momentum into the second half, maintaining control throughout the third quarter before pulling away in the final frame. The Bulldogs dominated the fourth quarter, outscoring Oberlin 20–8 to cruise to a 66–48 win.
Babb led all scorers with a 24-point double-double, adding 10 rebounds and three assists. She was flawless at the free-throw line, converting all eight attempts. Aubrie Ickes chipped in 16 points and six rebounds, while Ashlyn Moorehead contributed 11 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Moorehead also went a perfect 6-for-6 from the charity stripe.
