FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — The 2025-26 MIAA Men's Indoor Track and Field Preseason Poll highlights a conference loaded with returning champions, record-setters, and emerging standouts ready to make their mark across all event groups this winter. With national qualifiers and All-MIAA athletes anchoring several programs, the stage is set for another tightly contested race for the conference title. As teams prepare for the 2026 MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on February 28 at Trine University, the preseason rankings offer an early glimpse into the competitive landscape ahead.

Adrian College checks in at sixth in the preseason poll, matching its sixth-place finish at the 2025 MIAA Championships where the Bulldogs totaled 40.5 points.

The Bulldogs return a strong core of upperclassmen, headlined by fifth-year senior Asher Cousino, a 2025 Second Team All-MIAA selection who earned runner-up honors in the 60m hurdles (8.43) and added a 10th-place finish in the 200m dash (23.08). Senior distance standout Will Houvener is back after taking seventh in the 3000m run (15:31.31), while senior Ethan DeBerry provides a major asset in the pole vault following his third-place finish (4.36m). Senior thrower KJ Scott adds depth and experience in the field events after placing seventh in the weight throw (14.58m).

Adrian enters the season under new leadership as former assistant coach Kaylie Laskody takes over the program following her promotion to head coach in May 2025. With a seasoned group of returners and fresh guidance at the helm, the Bulldogs look poised to build momentum and compete strongly throughout the 2026 campaign.
