HILLSDALE, Mich. — The Adrian College track and field team sent two standout multi-event athletes to the Hillsdale College Mid-Week Multi, where Alysia Townsend rewrote the record books and Ian Kramp climbed into the program's all-time top 10.
Townsend opened the meet in dominant fashion, scoring 2,733 points in the pentathlon to break the school record. She delivered personal bests in three of her five events, highlighting a breakthrough performance.
Kramp also impressed on day one, notching personal bests in all four of his events to position himself for a strong finish. He carried that momentum into day two, where he completed the heptathlon with personal bests in all three remaining events.
Up Next: Townsend and the rest of the Bulldog track and field squad will head to Saginaw State University on Friday, December 5.
