OLIVET, Mich. - The Adrian College women's basketball team opened MIAA play in dominant fashion Wednesday night, rolling past The University of Olivet 82–42.
The Bulldogs wasted no time setting the tone, jumping out to a fast start and leading 26–13 after the first quarter. Adrian only built on that momentum in the second, outscoring the Comets 23–4 to take a commanding 49–17 lead into halftime.
The second half brought more of the same as the Bulldogs continued to knock down shots, control the boards, and extend their advantage. Adrian closed out the night with a decisive 82–42 victory to begin conference play 1–0.
Hannah Lisch led the Bulldogs with a team-high 18 points, adding three assists and four steals. Both Morgan Babb and Aubrie Ickes posted double-doubles—Babb with 14 points and 12 rebounds, and Ickes with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Darby Lienerth also reached double figures, finishing with 10 points and seven rebounds.
Up Next: The Bulldogs are back in action on Saturday, December 6 where they will head to Alma College. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
