GRANVILLE, Ohio - The Adrian College men's basketball team traveled to Denison University on Saturday for a non-conference matchup, falling just short in an 86–73 battle.

Adrian opened the game cold from the field, allowing Denison to build a lead as the Bulldogs headed into halftime trailing by 13. In the opening 20 minutes, Adrian shot 33% from the floor, 37% from three-point range, and knocked down 8 of 10 attempts at the free-throw line.

The Bulldogs came out with more energy in the second half, pushing the tempo and chipping away at Denison's advantage. Adrian made a late surge to cut into the deficit, but Denison held control down the stretch to secure the win.

Seth Logan and Carson Lutz led Adrian with 14 points apiece. Logan added two rebounds, while Lutz contributed two rebounds and two assists. Darrius Welch and Jaden Smiley paced the Bulldogs on the glass with four rebounds each. Welch finished with nine points and Smiley added two.

Up Next: The Bulldogs are back in action on Saturday, December 13 where they will head to Chicago, Illinois for a two-game road stint with Dominican University and Concordia University Chicago on Sunday.
