TIFFIN, Ohio – The Adrian College women's wrestling team competed at the Tiffin University Duals on Saturday, going 2-2 on the day. The Bulldogs earned victories over Otterbein (33-15) and Mount Union (20-18), but fell to Albion (32-17) and Alma (40-10).

Adrian opened the day with a 32-17 loss to Albion. Sharla Juhas and Josie Hause each won by fall, while Alexis Hart-Butcher picked up a win by forfeit. In their second match, the Bulldogs bounced back with a 33-15 victory over Otterbein, highlighted by another pin from Juhas and a 7-0 decision win by Sophia Renteria.

The Bulldogs faced a tough challenge against Alma, ultimately falling 40-10. Mia Gaetjens recorded a pin for Adrian, and Hause earned a win by forfeit. Adrian then capped the day with a hard-fought 20-18 victory over Mount Union. Juhas secured her third pin of the day, followed by a tech fall win from Hart-Butcher, a fall from Xsaria Puente, and another pin from Gaetjens.

Next, Adrian will travel to Augustana College for the D3 National Invitational, scheduled for February 8-9.
