NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- The Adrian College women's basketball team had five of its players score 10+ points on Saturday, as the Bulldogs defeated Saint Mary's College, 82-71, in the regular season finale.
The Bulldogs showed extreme promise on Saturday, winning the second, third, and fourth quarters, after trailing after the first.
Morgan Babb,
Aubrie Ickes,
Darby Lienerth,
Hannah Lisch, and
Kylie Skidmore all contributed to the impressive offensive performance, racking up at least 10 points each.
Babb led the way with a game-leading 28 points, along with 9 rebounds, and 2 assists. Ickes registered 15 points and 11 boards, while Lienerth and Skidmore each notted a double-double with 11 and 10 points respectively and 10 rebounds apiece. Lisch scored 11 points along with 4 rebounds. Skidmore led her team in dimes on Saturday with 6.
The Bulldogs finish the regular season with a 7-18 overall record and a 6-10 MIAA record. They'll enter the tournament as the No. 6 seed. Tournament information will be released in the coming days.
