FARMINGTON HILLS,
MICH.- The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) announced the preseason poll for the 2025 upcoming women's lacrosse season. The Adrian College women's lacrosse team was projected to finish in sixth place with 18 points in the voting.
In the preseason poll conducted by the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) women's lacrosse coaches, Hope College was projected to finish atop the conference standings after securing seven first-place votes and a total of 49 points. Trine University followed in second place with 40 points and the remaining first-place vote.
The Bulldogs wrapped up the 2024 season with a 1-6 record in conference play and a 5-9 overall mark. Looking ahead to the upcoming season, Adrian welcomes back seven key returners while integrating 11 newcomers into the lineup.
The MIAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament has been expanded from four to six teams, beginning in 2025. The first round will be held on Saturday, April 26, with the semifinals on Wednesday, April 30, followed by the championship contest on Saturday, May 3. The winner will receive an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship which will begin May 10.
Adrian takes the field for the first time this Saturday where they will host Hanover College at 4:00 PM.
