ADRIAN, Mich. -- The No. 6 Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 1 hockey team collected two home victories this week, taking down Oakland University and Michigan State University, 16-0 and 8-1 respectively.
The Bulldogs hosted the Oakland Golden Grizzlies on Thursday night at the Arrington Ice Arena for their annual Senior Night game. Before puck-drop, class of 2025 seniors

Dylan Knighton, and
Ethan McLaughlin were recognized, alongside the company of their families, for their accomplishments as Bulldogs over the last four seasons. The eight seniors were instrumental in bringing the Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 1 program its third national title last year.
In an eventful and memorable game, the Bulldogs dominated for sixty minutes to blank the Golden Grizzlies, led by the seniors who provided a large part of the offense. Scoring for Adrian in Thursday's barn-burner was

Chad Noetzel. In goal, Knighton got the start and made 9 saves for the shutout senior night victory.
Nash Hatcher provided four helpers in the win, while McLaughlin and Minns both finished the night with four points apiece as well.
Adrian returned to their home ice on Friday afternoon for a contest against the Michigan State University Spartans Division 2 squad to end a successful and remarkable week for the seniors. In an 8-1 shellacking, the Bulldogs received goals from Dicesare, Smith (x2), McLaughlin,
Matteo Turrin,
Griffin Zaske,
Hunter Allen and Noetzel.
Andreas Fleutot added three apples to end his night with three points, something Zaske and Smith also accomplished on Friday. Decottignies stood in goal for the Bulldogs, stopping 25 of 26 for the victory.
The MD1 Bulldogs will prepare for a duo of critical GL6 conference match-ups next week against the No. 18 Purdue University Northwest Pride. The Bulldogs will hit the road to Indiana on Wednesday, February 12 for an 8:00 PM EST face-off, before returning home to close the series at the AIA on Thursday, February 13 at 7:30 PM.
