RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- The Adrian College men's volleyball team closed action in Illinois on Saturday with a contest at Concordia University Chicago, After dropping both of their matches on Friday, the Bulldogs fell once again, losing 3-2 in five sets to the Cougars.
The Bulldogs grabbed the win in set one, before dropping sets two and three. Adrian answered back in set four but the Cougars ended it in set five to secure the match victory.
Beck Fieldhouse and
Zach Molnar led the way in the kills department, with 14 apiece.
Jahryck Muliagatele registered 33 assists in the match, and
Carson Bell earned 4 block assists to lead his team.
Rolen Maclin grabbed a team-lead 17 digs in the effort.
The Adrian College men's volleyball squad returns to action next week in Grand Rapids for the Calvin University quad match.
