HIRAM, Ohio. -- The Adrian College men's volleyball team traveled to Ohio on Saturday, coming home with a straight sets loss to Hiram College.
Saturday's loss marks the second to the Terriers this season, as Adrian dropped its home opener to Hiram back in January.
The Bulldogs battled hard and kept every set close, but were unsuccessful in getting a set win, dropping each contest, 25-20, 25-16, and 25-19.
Leading for Adrian on Saturday was
Beck Fieldhouse, who grabbed nine digs and nine kills to lead his team.
Rolen Maclin also collected nine digs in the loss.
Sam Landers registered nine kills and eight digs, while
Carson Bell grabbed five kills and six digs to support the effort. Bell also dished out an impressive six service aces and provided the majority of his team's points.
Andrew Graczyk, as usual, led in the assists category, collecting 26 in the match loss.
The Bulldogs will next host Olivet on Wednesday, March 5 at 7:00 PM at the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center for an MCVL contest.
