CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa. -- The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) announced its 2025 season conference awards on Thursday, with two Adrian College Bulldogs being named to All-Conference teams.
Sam Landers and
Carson Bell of the Adrian College men's volleyball team were recognized on the Second Team and Honorable Mention Teams respectively after stand-out performances in 2025.
Landers, who receives his second career All-Conference accolade, led the Bulldogs in eight statistical categories during his Sophomore season, including sets played, matches played, matches started, points scored, points scored per set, kills, kills per set, and total attacks. Landers was one of three Bulldogs to play and start in every match and every set in the 2025 season. The Sophomore Captain from Hawaii finished with a career-high 213 kills and 636 attacks.
Bell collects his first All-Conference award in his Junior season after contributing to the Bulldogs with the highest attack percentage (.358) of Bulldog players with a minimum of fifteen sets played over the 2025 season. Bell also led his team in service aces with 26 over the course of 61 sets played. The Hudsonville native finished second on his team with 10 solo blocks and 35 total blocks, as well as tied for second with 25 block assists. Bell also set the Adrian College men's volleyball program record for solo blocks earlier this season, now sitting in first place all-time with 47 career solo blocks.
