ALLIANCE, Ohio – A small group of Bulldogs closed out the 2024–25 season on a high note at the Mount Union Last Chance Qualifier on Thursday afternoon, highlighted by a record-breaking performance from Alysia Townsend.
Townsend delivered a standout effort in the women's long jump, shattering the school record with a leap of 5.79m (19-0). Her performance surpassed the previous mark of 5.40m, set in 2019 by Rayona Hart-Wilson, cementing her place in Adrian history.
Also representing the Bulldogs, Cameron Overmyer impressed in the men's pole vault, clearing 4.16m (15-3), while Asher Cousino turned in a strong showing in the men's 400-meter hurdles, placing third overall with a time of 59.76.
The meet served as the final competition of the year for Adrian College Track & Field, capping off a memorable 2024–25 campaign filled with school records, personal bests, and season-best performances across the roster.
