LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) revealed its Academic Awards for the 2025 season, with Team Awards and Individual Scholar All-Americans being announced. The Adrian College men's lacrosse team earned its fifth consecutive Academic Team Award, while Sam Spangler was named a Scholar All-American.

Colleges with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the entire academic year earn the academic award. The Bulldogs earned a 3.45 collective GPA in 2024-2025, making it their highest mark for the award in their five cases of winning it.

Spangler earns his first Scholar All-American nod and becomes only the second player in Adrian College Men's Lacrosse program history to collect such an award, joining Max Leventis, who did it back in 2021-2022.
