2025 Cross Country Schedule Release

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College Cross Country team is primed and ready for another exciting season.

The Bulldogs will kick off their campaign on August 29 at the annual Olivet 5K Opener, hosted by the University of Olivet. Just two weeks later, the team will head north to compete in the Warrior Invitational, hosted by Wayne State University, on September 12.

Following a week of recovery and training, the Bulldogs return to action on September 26 at the Siena Heights Invitational. They'll then make their way to Grand Rapids on October 4 for a competitive outing at the Calvin Knight Invitational, hosted by Calvin University. Another week of preparation will lead the team to Oberlin College for the highly anticipated Oberlin Regional Rumble on October 18.

Championship season begins on November 1 as Adrian returns to The University of Olivet for the MIAA Championships. After a week to regroup, the Bulldogs will then continue their postseason at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional, held this year at Spalding College on November 15.

The 2024 season brought some historic performances, most notably from Will Houvener, who shattered the program's all-time record with a blazing time of 24:48.80 at the MIAA Championships where he finished sixth overall Houvener's and earned 28th place at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional, capping off a remarkable year.

With strong momentum and a talented roster, the Bulldogs are eager to build on last season's success and make a memorable run in 2025.

"We are very excited for the season this year", said Head Coach Miles Cain. "Both of our teams have people who have been working very well this past year, and who are ready to have breakout seasons. Our seniors on the men's side of the team in particular could do some very cool things. They have learned a lot, and are ready to roll. Our women's team is younger, but they have a strong drive to hit what we need/want going forward."
