Bulldogs Slotted Fourth in First-Ever MIAA Men’s Golf Preseason Rankings

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) announced its inaugural Men's Golf Preseason Poll on Friday afternoon. Voted on by the head coaches of each program, the 2025–26 poll places the Adrian College men's golf team at No. 4 with 25 voting points.

The Bulldogs wrapped up the 2024–25 season in fourth place in the MIAA standings, posting a team average of 301.50. Adrian placed fifth in MIAA Jamboree #1, fourth in Jamboree #2, and third in both Jamboree #3 and #4. In the MIAA Spring Final, the Bulldogs carded scores of 306 and 302 for a two-day total of 608 to finish second overall. Despite the strong finish, the team came up just short of climbing higher in the standings.

Trine University leads the Preseason Poll with 12 points and four first-place votes, followed by Hope College with 13 points and three first-place votes. Calvin University is third with 16 points and one first-place vote. Adrian is followed by Albion College in fifth, with Alma College and Kalamazoo College tied for sixth, and the University of Olivet rounding out the poll.

Adrian's 2025–26 season will begin with a non-conference tournament hosted by Olivet on August 29–30. MIAA Jamboree play begins September 15, hosted by Albion College.
