ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College football team delivered a dominant Homecoming performance inside Docking Stadium, shutting out Manchester University 57-0.
How It Happened:
The Bulldogs wasted no time setting the tone. Trey Brueggemann punched in the game's first touchdown on the ground, before quarterback Noah Beaudrie broke loose for a 48-yard scoring run to give Adrian an early 13-0 advantage.
Just before halftime, Beaudrie connected with Braiden Whitaker on a 16-yard strike to push the Bulldogs into the break up 20-0.
Adrian's offense kept rolling in the second half. Beaudrie and Whitaker hooked up again, this time for a 27-0 lead. The Bulldogs' defense then forced back-to-back turnovers, capitalizing with Brueggemann's second rushing score and a 14-yard touchdown run by Carson Shrader to make it 41-0. Moments later, a botched Manchester snap in the end zone added a safety to extend the lead to 43-0.
The Bulldogs weren't done yet. Beaudrie tossed his third touchdown of the afternoon with an eight-yard pass to Brady Raymond, before backup quarterback Sabastian Boswell capped off the rout with a rushing score to seal the 57-0 victory.
