LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Adrian College NCAA women's hockey team completed its road series against Lake Forest College on Saturday afternoon, earning a 6-0 shutout victory to secure a series sweep.

The Bulldogs jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period. Courtney Ben opened the scoring midway through the frame, and Riley Johnson followed with a power-play goal to extend the advantage. Adrian continued to build the lead in the second period as Anneliese Klein made it 3-0 before Johnson struck again.

In the third period, Julia Richardson added a goal to push the lead to 5-0, and Parker Beyer capped the scoring late in the contest to seal the 6-0 win.

Johnson added an assist to finish with a three-point afternoon, while Emma Simon recorded two assists. Kiera Stack earned the shutout in net with 30 saves.

The Bulldogs return to action next weekend when they host the University of Dubuque on January 23–24. Friday's game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
