BRIGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) announced its Athletes of the Week on Monday afternoon. Riley Miller of the Adrian College women's soccer team was named the MIAA Women's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week.
 
Miller started in goal for both of Adrian's matches last week against Saint Mary's College and Alma College, recording two shutouts to lead the Bulldogs to a pair of 2-0 victories. The wins secured Adrian's spot in the MIAA Tournament. Miller recorded four saves in Tuesday's victory over Saint Mary's before adding two saves against Alma.
 
The Bulldogs finished the regular season with a 6-9-2 record and will await their opponent for the MIAA Tournament as the remainder of the conference schedule concludes. The first round of the tournament is scheduled for Saturday, October 31.
