ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's lacrosse team kicked off their 2026 season on Saturday afternoon where they welcomed Ohio Northern University inside Sweebe Family Athletic Center. The Bulldogs stormed to a 20-9 victory.
Adrian started off strong with six goals in the first quarter, with two coming from Mariana Miller, Jenna Allie, Kacie Woodall and Abby Malone. The Bulldogs stayed hot in the second with three goals, two coming form Madeline Turcotte and Allie. Adrian maintained an 8-5 lead entering the locker room.
Quicky in the second half, Allie would score her third goal of the game to keep the momentum for the Bulldogs. Adrian would then score three straight goals, two from Malone and one from Kacie Woodall. Adrian would put the dagger in Ohio Northern with seven goals in the fourth quarter to secure their first win of the season, taking the game 20-9.
Up Next: The Bulldogs are back in action on Saturday, February 21 where they will welcome MSOE inside Sweebe family Athletic Center. Opening draw is set for 3:00 PM.
