OLIVET, Mich. – The Adrian College men's basketball team traveled to The University of Olivet on Wednesday night for its final conference road game of the season. The Bulldogs fell to the Comets, 89-73.
Adrian trailed 44-32 at halftime after shooting 11-of-33 from the field in the opening half, including 6-of-17 from three-point range. Seth Logan led the Bulldogs with nine first-half points, while Jeremiah Dallas added eight.
The Bulldogs responded with an improved offensive showing in the second half, scoring 41 points. Darrius Welch poured in 12 points over the final 20 minutes, and Curtis Dell contributed 11 in the half.
For the game, Adrian shot 39.7 percent from the field, while Olivet connected at 58.1 percent. Dell finished with a team-high 17 points. Logan and Welch each added 15 points, and Dallas rounded out the double-figure scorers with 10.
Despite the loss, the Bulldogs remain in sixth place in the MIAA standings with one game left in the regular season. Adrian will look to clinch a playoff spot when it hosts Albion College on Saturday, February 21, at 4:00 p.m.
