BAINBRIDGE, Ga. – The Adrian College bass fishing team delivered an impressive performance on Lake Seminole late last week, placing three boats in the top 10. The Bulldogs secured first-, fifth-, and eighth-place finishes to qualify three duos for the 2027 MLF National Championship.
Braylon Eggerding and Brady Pinwar led the way with a first-place finish, hauling in a tournament-best 28.01 pounds, highlighted by a nine-pound bass. Henry Vincent and Paxton Giem placed fifth with 23.05 pounds, while Jerry Brumbaugh Jr. and Quade Lobo followed closely in eighth with 23.00 pounds.
Cole Carr and Tyler Zwick finished 50th with 17.11 pounds, followed by Nick Seitz and Mitch Straffon in 58th (17.03 pounds). Henri Sturm and Lucas Washburn placed 82nd with 15.10 pounds, Jose Alten and Brady Osborn finished 102nd with 14.03 pounds, and Jack Kropp and Mattix Burst rounded out the field for Adrian in 144th with 11.01 pounds. The tournament featured a competitive field of 212 boats.
In addition to earning a bid to the 2027 MLF National Championship, Eggerding and Pinwar brought home a $2,000 check for the Adrian College bass fishing program. Vincent and Giem added $500 to the program's total with their fifth-place finish.
The Bulldogs return to action on Friday, March 13, when they travel to Alabama to compete on Lake Eufaula.
