HAMMOND, Ind. -- The Adrian College MD2 hockey team concluded their season Friday night at the ACHA MD2 Regional Championships as they faced No. 2 Saint Thomas, as Adrian College was the No. 15 seed, falling 6-0 in round one. 

The Tommies jumped out quickly, scoring just 36 seconds into the opening period, and added three more goals in the first frame to take a 4–0 lead after 20 minutes of play. Adrian faced heavy pressure early, with St. Thomas outshooting the Bulldogs 22–6 in the opening period.

St. Thomas extended its lead late in the second period with a goal at the 18:48 mark, before adding the final tally midway through the third. Adrian was unable to generate sustained offensive momentum, finishing the night with 18 shots on goal compared to 47 by the Tommies.

In net, Alexander Herman started for the Bulldogs, stopping 12 of 16 shots in 16:08 of action, while Lorenzo Culasso came on in relief and made 29 saves on 31 shots over the final 40:25.
