ADRIAN, Mich. – D3baseball.com released its Week 3 Top-25 poll on Tuesday morning. After suffering a three-game skid, the Adrian College baseball team dropped from No. 9 to No. 17 in the rankings. Adrian holds 222 voting points and owns a 6-3 record on the season.

The Bulldogs were ranked No. 9 with one first-place vote in last week's poll. Adrian dropped three straight games, including a pair of close contests against Piedmont (11-9) and Maryville (12-11). Greensboro also defeated Adrian, 7-2, on Friday afternoon. However, the Bulldogs bounced back to end their southern trip with an 8-7 victory over Montclair State.

Adrian is the only team from the MIAA ranked in the Top 25, while Kalamazoo is receiving votes.

The road ahead does not get any easier for the Bulldogs, as they are set to face the newly ranked No. 1 team in the country, Denison University, on Friday. Adrian will also take on North Central College on the road, followed by a matchup with RV Baldwin Wallace.

All three games this weekend will be played in Carol Stream, Illinois, at Lee Pfund Stadium. Adrian's first game is scheduled for Friday, March 13, at 4:30 p.m. ET.
