LAKE WALES, Fla. -- The Adrian College women's lacrosse team continued its strong start to the season on Monday afternoon, rolling past Warner (Fla.), 20–6, to improve to 4-0 overall.
The Bulldogs wasted no time setting the tone, erupting for eight first-quarter goals and carrying a commanding 14–3 lead into halftime. Adrian outshot Warner 42–12 for the game, including a 34–7 advantage in shots on goal.
Jenna Allie led the offensive surge with five goals, while Kacie Woodall added four goals and three assists for a team-high seven points. Mariana Miller netted three goals, and Madeline Turcotte finished with two goals and four assists to total six points.
Additional scoring came from Sarah Gross (2), Abby Malone (2), Skylar Donaldson (1), and Hanna Ahmad (1) as eight different Bulldogs found the back of the net.
Turcotte also dominated the draw circle, collecting eight draw controls to help Adrian secure a 16–11 edge in draws. Woodall contributed four ground balls, while Malone added three ground balls and two draw controls in a strong all-around effort.
In goal, Bella Norton earned the win, making two saves while allowing six goals over 54:16 of action. Chloe Martin closed out the final 5:44 to secure the victory.
Adrian capitalized on special teams play, converting multiple man-up opportunities, including goals from Woodall, Miller, Malone, and Ahmad. The Bulldogs forced 33 Warner turnovers and recorded nine caused turnovers defensively.
With the 20-goal performance, Adrian remains unbeaten and will look to carry the momentum into Wednesday, March 11 as they head to Capital University. First draw set to start at 4:00 PM.
