ROANOKE, Va. – The Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs of the SPHL announced the signing of Sebastian Smith on Monday afternoon. Smith joins the organization after a standout five-year career with the Adrian College ACHA Men's Division 1 hockey team, where he served as team captain for two seasons.

During his time with the Bulldogs, Smith appeared in 156 games, recording 102 goals and 89 assists. He was a member of Adrian's National Championship team during the 2023-24 season and helped lead the program to four consecutive National Championship game appearances.

Smith has signed a Player Tryout Contract with Roanoke.

The Rail Yard Dawgs currently sit in second place in the SPHL standings with 63 points and a 29-20-3-2 record. Roanoke returns to action March 27-28 at home against Fayetteville.
