ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College acrobatics & tumbling team dropped their final dual meet of their season to Concordia University (Wis.), 213.135-170.290, on senior day Saturday afternoon.
Adrian opened the meet with a 69.95 in the first half, competing closely in several heats against a strong Concordia squad that took an early lead.
The Bulldogs turned in one of their best performances first half in the Pyramid event, posting a 25.65 total. Adrian highlighted the event with a 8.80 in the Release Heat and a 8.20 in the Twist Heat, showcasing consistency and difficulty across all three heats.
In Compulsory, Adrian totaled 22.10 points, led by a 7.25 in the Pyramid Heat and an 6.45 in the Toss Heat. The Bulldogs also added a 22.20 in the Acro event, with their top score coming in the six-element heat (7.55).
During the second half, Adrian posted 100.340 points. The Bulldogs recorded a 23.70 in the Toss event, highlighted by an 8.50 in the Open Heat, and added 34.350 in Tumbling. Adrian's top tumbling scores came in the Open Pass (7.625) and Duo Pass (7.30).
The meet concluded with a 69.46 in the Team Event for Adrian.
Despite the result, the Bulldogs showed strength in Pyramid and continued progress across multiple events as they close out their season 1-4.
