ANDERSON, S.C. – The Adrian College bass fishing team competed at the 2026 Crush City Hartwell Slam presented by Sufix over the weekend, part of the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Fishing Series on Lake Hartwell. The Bulldogs entered six boats in a competitive 280-boat field and were highlighted by a top-30 finish.
Leading the way for Adrian, the duo of Quade Lobo and Gerry Brumbaugh Jr. placed 29th overall after hauling in 10 fish for a combined weight of 31.88 pounds over the two-day event. Wesson Vint and Connor Racine followed with a 52nd-place finish, also catching 10 fish totaling 29.52 pounds.
Mitch Staffon and Paxton Giem finished 63rd with 10 fish weighing 28.72 pounds, while Nick Seitz and Rance Eddleblute placed 81st with a 10-fish total of 27.76 pounds.
Brady Pinwar and Braylon Eggerding came in 133rd with 10 fish for 24.54 pounds. Rounding out the Adrian lineup, Brady Osborn and Jose Alten placed 218th, bringing in 10 fish totaling 18.82 pounds.
The Bulldogs return to action April 8-9 for the B.A.S.S. Lunkers #2 event on Santee Cooper in South Carolina, while another group will travel to Branson, Missouri, to compete in a Major League Fishing event at Table Rock on Friday, April 10.
