FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) announced its All-MIAA men's tennis teams on Wednesday morning, with Adrian College earning one selection. Junior Michael Mascarin was named Second Team All-MIAA.
Mascarin completed another strong season for the Bulldogs, competing exclusively at No. 1 Singles and No. 1 Doubles throughout the year.
At No. 1 Singles, Mascarin posted an 8-4 overall record, including a 3-2 mark in MIAA play against the conference's top competition.
In doubles action, Mascarin teamed up with Luca Coutinho at No. 1 Doubles and also finished with an 8-4 overall record, going 3-2 in conference matches.
Mascarin helped lead Adrian to another MIAA Tournament appearance, as the Bulldogs secured the No. 5 seed after finishing the regular season with a 3-4 conference record.
The honor marks the second Second Team All-MIAA selection of Mascarin's career as a Bulldog.
