ADRIAN, Mich. – Adrian College has announced the hiring of Allison Shaw as the new assistant coach for the Adrian College ACHA women's D1 hockey team. Shaw returns to the Bulldogs after graduating from Adrian College in 2025.
 
During her time at Adrian, Shaw was named a captain as she helped guide the Bulldogs to the program's first National Championship in 2024. Shaw played a vital role in the Women's ACHA Division 1 team that delivered three straight CCWHA titles from 2022 to 2024. Shaw finished her junior season leading the nation in scoring by a defenseman, earning CCWHA All-Conference and ACHA All-American First Team honors, while also being named a finalist for the Zoe Harris ACHA Women's Division 1 Player of the Year award.
 
Upon graduating from Adrian College with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, Shaw went to Liberty University to earn her master's degree in criminal justice & crisis counseling.
 
Shaw has gained significant coaching experience over the last five years, mentoring youth hockey players as an assistant coach for multiple programs in Ontario.
 
Shaw will begin her coaching duties immediately as she helps prepare the Bulldogs for the 2026-27 season.
