BRIGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) released its preseason poll for women's golf on Monday afternoon, with the Adrian College women's golf team projected to finish fourth in the conference. The Bulldogs received 38 points in voting by the MIAA women's golf head coaches.

The MIAA women's golf season consists of four conference rounds during the fall, followed by a two-round Spring Final in the spring. The team with the lowest combined score across all six conference rounds will earn the MIAA's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament.

Last season, Adrian finished fifth in the conference with a 323.50 average across six MIAA rounds. The Bulldogs posted a season-low round of 318 at MIAA Jamboree #4 at Pine River Country Club in Alma. Adrian also hosted the MIAA Spring Final at The Legacy Golf Course, where the Bulldogs carded back-to-back rounds of 320, their second-lowest conference scores of the season.

Trine University was selected to win the MIAA with 59 points and three first-place votes. Saint Mary's College followed in second with 56 points and four first-place votes, while Albion College was selected third with 46 points and one first-place vote. Adrian followed in fourth, while Kalamazoo College placed fifth and also received one first-place vote. Hope College was selected sixth, followed by Calvin University in seventh, Alma College in eighth, and The University of Olivet in ninth.

Adrian is scheduled to open the 2026-27 season on September 4-5 at a non-conference event hosted by Olivet. The Bulldogs will then host a non-conference event on September 11-12.

The MIAA season will begin on September 14 with Jamboree #1 hosted by Albion College. Jamboree #2 will be hosted by Hope College, followed by Jamboree #3 at Trine University and Jamboree #4 at Saint Mary's College.
