OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. – The Adrian College women's golf team hosted the MIAA Spring Finale this weekend, competing in a two-day event at Legacy Golf Course. The Bulldogs posted back-to-back team rounds of 320 for a total score of 640, finishing fourth out of nine MIAA teams. Adrian also wrapped up the conference season in fifth place overall in the final MIAA standings.
Ainslee Hewitt and Rachel Fay led the way for the Bulldogs, each carding a two-day total of 155. Hewitt battled the windy conditions with rounds of 78 and 77, while Fay followed with rounds of 80 and 75. The pair tied for seventh overall in the field.
Sami Burks finished tied for 27th with a 167, opening with an 82 on Friday before shooting an 85 on Saturday. Kennedy Kehres followed closely behind with a 168 after rounds of 85 and 83, while Mackenzie Schulz rounded out the starting five with a 170, shooting 80 in the opening round and 90 in the final round.
Rylie Yuhas competed as an individual for Adrian and placed 24th overall. She posted back-to-back rounds of 83 for a total score of 166.
The Bulldogs concluded the MIAA season in fifth place with a six-round conference average of 323.50 and a total score of 1,941 across all six league rounds.
Adrian will return to competition in the fall to begin the 2026-27 season.
