ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's tennis team fell to Franklin College, 5-2, on Saturday at the Merillat Sports and Fitness Center. Franklin opened the match by winning both doubles contests to secure the doubles point.
Hye Jin Elliott put the Bulldogs on the board with a 6-4, 6-1 victory at No. 1 singles. Olivia Harris added Adrian's second point at No. 2, winning the opening set 6-2 before responding to a second-set loss by taking the match tiebreaker. Sophia Comiskey also forced a match tiebreaker at No. 4 after winning her opening set, but Franklin captured the remaining singles matches to close out the victory.
