KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Two members of the Adrian College women's tennis team competed at the 2026 ITA Division III Women's Central Regional Championship over the weekend, hosted by Kalamazoo College. Hye Jin Elliott and Anneka Croftchik represented the Bulldogs in singles competition and teamed up in the doubles draw.

In doubles play, Elliott and Croftchik opened the tournament with a tightly contested victory over a team from Ohio Northern University. The Adrian duo prevailed 8-7 after winning the tiebreaker, 7-4, to advance to the Round of 32.

Elliott and Croftchik then faced the tournament's No. 9-seeded team from Case Western Reserve University. Their doubles run ended with an 8-0 loss.

Elliott began singles competition with a dominant straight-set victory over an opponent from Franklin College, winning 6-0, 6-2. She advanced to the next round and battled a seeded opponent from Case Western Reserve. After dropping the opening set, Elliott responded to win the second before falling in the match tiebreaker, 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (10-4).

Croftchik opened singles play against an opponent from Case Western Reserve and fell 6-1, 6-0. She received a bye in the consolation draw before losing by walkover against an opponent from North Central College.

The ITA Central Regional Championship concluded the fall portion of Adrian's 2026-27 schedule.
