ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College women's soccer team dropped a conference match to visiting Albion College on Saturday afternoon.

Albion got on the board first on a Lauren Beck goal in the fourth minute of play. The Bulldogs responded when Brittany Moreau finished a Lindsay Chitwood cross off of a free kick to tie the game 1-1 in the ninth minute.

The Brits would add three unanswered goals. Ali Oatley put the Brits up 2-1 with a goal at the 21 minute mark. She then added her second goal of the day shortly after the halftime break. The Albion scoring was wrapped up by Lauren Beck's second goal of the day in the 83rd minute.

Kalie Newman gave the Bulldogs their second goal of the day at 86:17. Despite a strong effort late in the game, the Bulldogs could not find the back of the net to mount a comeback.

The loss moves the Bulldogs to 5-9-1 on the season with a 2-4-0 MIAA mark. Next up for the Adrian College women's soccer team is a conference match at home against Kalamazoo College on Tuesday, October 16 at 4:00 p.m.
