YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Adrian College men's ACHA hockey team picked up a 5-1 win on the road in Ohio against the Youngstown State University Penguins on Friday night.

Michael Yakamovich, Anthony Aukskalnis, Trevor Markovich, Jared Semple, and Mark Wood each scored goals in the win. Jason Knutson notched two assists on the night as Semple and Wood each added an assist for the Bulldogs.

The win was also keyed by the solid defensive play of Alex Root and Matt Welch. Welch played the whole game in goal for the Bulldogs, registering 31 saves en route to picking up the win.

The Bulldogs and the Penguins will face off again tomorrow evening at 7:00 p.m. in Youngstown.
