Final Stats

ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College women's soccer team defeated the Olivet Comets by the score of 3-1 on Saturday to improve their overall record to 7-3-1 with a 2-1 mark in the MIAA Conference.

Cody McDonald gave the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead when she scored her third goal of the season in the 10th minute of the first half. McDonald was assisted on the play by Sarah Evans.

Lindsay Chitwood increased the lead to 2-0 with a goal in the 41st minute of the second half. Chitwood now has a team-high 11 goals on the season.

The Comets scored quickly into the second half to pull within one goal of the Bulldogs, but Sarah Muylle ended the comeback with her first goal of the season in the 73rd minute of the game.

Amanda House was the goalkeeper for all 90 minutes for Adrian. House recorded two saves and improves her record to 2-1-1.

The women's soccer team will host Saint Mary's on Tuesday, Oct. 7th at 4:00 p.m.
