Adrian, Mich. - The ACHA men's hockey team returned to Arrington Ice Arena to defeat Slippery Rock 5-2 on Saturday night.

Mark Eberline gave the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead in the first period by scoring a goal off an assist from Trevor Markovich and Milo Miller. Team captain Jared Semple increased the Adrian lead to 2-0 by scoring a goal off an assist from Eberline and Markovich.

Adrian scored the lone goal of the second period. Markovich scored a power play goal at the 12 minute mark.

Each team scored two goals in the third period. Jeff LeRoy put the Bulldogs up 4-0 with a goal off an assist from Andrew Adams. Tony Aukskalnis scored the final goal of the game for Adrian.

Slippery Rock got on the scoreboard after an unassisted goal from Josh Herbert. Wes Waldschmidt also scored an unassisted goal for the Rock.

Each team went 1-for-4 on power play opportunities. Matt Welch had 24 saves as the goaltender for the Bulldogs.
